As we had never been skiing in Eastern Europe, we were all a bit hesitant at first. This trip meant departing from the familiar Western European ski resorts where we had previously had great ski holidays and pretty good skiing. All of the stories about the new infrastructure, great snow and (very) cheap food and accommodation finally enticed us to check it out. The travel agent told us 'for the price of a ski vacation in France, you could have 4 vacations in Bansko'. Well, of course we were skeptical, but the fact that it wasn't going to cost us much reduced our risk! We went to Bansko and ended up having a ball! So we have embarked on a journey to educate the west about the pleasures that can be found in Bansko!<br /><br />Our goal is to collect all of the information and contact details which can help you organize a ski or summer vacation to Bansko.
